Getting Started on your Eagle Project
Life Scouts ready to begin planning their Eagle Project should follow this process:
Review the OCBSA Council Life to Eagle advancement page
Discuss potenial projects and beneficiary organizations with your Scoutmaster or an experienced Eagle Coach in your Troop
Prepare your project proposal plan, review with your Eagle Coach and get approval from your Scoutmaster and Troop Committee Chair.
Complete your Project Plan and Fundraising Application, review with your Eagle Coach and submit for approval by the District Eagle Advancment Committee.

Scheduling your Eagle Board of Review
Once you have completed your Eagle project, written your report and obtained approval from your beneficiary and Scoutmaster, you are ready to prepare for your Eagle Board of Review
Download the latest Eagle application from BSA Advancement page and complete. Only the current form at the time of your Board of Review will be accepted.
Request your confidential appraisals (letters of recommentation) using the council-specific form found on the OCBSA Life to Eagle advancement page.
Contact your assigned District Eagle Advancement committee member to request your Eagle BOR.
